One time when I was out thrifting, I came across this sweet little vintage cross-stitched linen tablecloth. It had a couple of marks that I knew I could cut around, but I wanted to give it a new life and get it out of that thrift shop! I kept the front of the stocking simple, showcasing this vintage stranger’s beautiful handiwork. I machine quilted the linen with a simple straight stitch to give the stocking a bit of a ribbed feel. The kelly green felt cuff needed a little something, so I pulled this flocked ric rac out of my stash, and it was just the thing. An oyster-colored velvet ribbon was perfect for the hanging loop. I decided to do the back of the stocking in a classic green and white ticking to keep this stocking feeling familiar and homey. I love how delicate this turned out—it's a really special piece.

Measuring 10.5" wide and 17" tall, it offers plenty of space for small gifts.
