Stuffed Animal - Hen
This sweet plush chicken is not just any toy - they are hand-crafted with oodles of love and personality in each stitch. Picture them perched on a shelf, their legs doing a little dance in the breeze - it's pure charm!
With embroidered wings, coordinating tail ruffles, and premium wool-blend felt for eyes, combs, and feet, this feathered friend is the definition of cute and cuddly! The eyes are ironed-on appliques for the safety of any little rascal.
This funky chicken is a quirky mix of recycled navy and white floral cotton, vintage royal blue and yellow fabric, and cozy dark orange wool-blend felt. The blue and yellow fabric is a vintage gem I snagged at a Toronto market (I vaguely recall them mentioning it was from the 30s or 40s???), stashed away for a perfect moment like this! Its wing undersides sport a charming yellow and white checkered pattern, while its legs and tail rock a deep purple ribbon. I even gave its legs a little embroidered flair for that extra touch of something special. This feathered friend turned out egg-ceptionally awesome - grab her while you can!
Kindly bear in mind that this little gem was lovingly crafted from recycled and vintage fabrics, making it extra special but also a tad delicate. Embrace the unique quirks and variations that only add to its charm!
This cutie measures 7.5" long x 8" tall x 4.5" wide (19.05cm long x 20.32cm tall x 11.43cm wide) with varied length legs.
This sweetie is all set to sail! Fingers crossed you love her as much as I do!
If none of these chickens match your vibe, don't chicken out! I'm all about those custom creations, so hit me up with your dream chicken request!
Please note: this chicken stuffie has dangly legs. This can be a strangulation hazard in children under 5 years of age. If you would like the legs to be shortened, I will happily do so, just ask! If you are purchasing for an infant or baby, please use the item decoratively 3' away from the child.
Lisa Pay's pattern, with my little twist added in.
